Photoshoot Day 1

Yesterday, 28th December, me and Steph had a photoshoot at the garden. The theme was girly nature look and another dramatic doll-ed up look. The doll-ed up photoshoot didn't turn up too good thanks to monkeys and the hot weather but today I did a mini photoshoot to complete the dolled-up photoshoot. So anyways, here's a link to all the pictures taken.

Tomorrow will be another photoshoot at the beach. I seriously need to do my research on posing cause I suck big time at it. Gawd.

Why I Don't Delete Crappy Pictures

Click to have a larger view. Had to arrange them like this coz there were too many pics!! =)

Fisheye- A must have lens if I'm getting a DSLR

A touch of Lomo

Shift-tilt tryout... The roads look like hot wheels toys

Another shift-tilt tryout...they look like doll house

B/W with a touch of tint

How many lanterns do you see?

Recognize him from Surf's Up?

I personally love this

Jelly Fish!!! Cool eh?

Old feeling to it.

Lomo-ness, abandoned this effect for sometime

I like how the pillars stand out after editing

Shift-tilt failure but I still like the outcome

Over-saturated but it'd different, right?

Over-write the original by mistake

Another picture that had been over-writed by mistake
Shift-tilt tryout again.

Another zombie FAILED...

Been trying for like 3 years to photoshop myself into a zombie, scary thing but I always F.A.I.L
Why? Why? Why?
Sigh I'm gonna watch a movie can't photoshop no more... T.T
The left eye and the mouth is my biggest mistake...sigh so much for merging and saving without spot checking.

Vampire Diaries

EDITED VERSION              ORIGINAL VERSION

Wished that was my vampire bf... sigh few more weeks to go before I'll see you again, Stephen Salvotore

Purple Hue

Took me 10 mins to do this including a re-do. Kinda nice effect something different from a normal colored photograph. Ran out of pictures to use so I went ahead and choose a picture of the late Brittany Murphy. T.T
I loved her...

Pretty easy to do actually just play around with the blending modes and thats it.

RIP Brittany Murphy

Spot the difference...

Gave manual dynamic black and white editing a try and this is what I've came up with within 5 mins of playing around.

The Difference:

Dynamic Black and White equals to a more contrasting picture hence the word dynamic. No soft lights were added because it was not appropriate for the kind of pictures I used. On the other hand, auto black and white which can be generated easily in a few seconds looks a little dull.

I like all the dynamic editing except for the last one...The original picture was exposed sigh...so it looks weird overall.

The Editing:

Not as simple as clicking desaturate, auto tone, auto color, auto contrast...that's for the easy b/w effect. The editing process consist of image repair, and manual coloring with the brush tool. So that you can give certain area a better contrast and highlight and not an overall contrast.

The Verdict:

Left: Manual Dynamic B/W
Right: Auto B/W in PS
