Spot the difference...

Gave manual dynamic black and white editing a try and this is what I've came up with within 5 mins of playing around.

The Difference:

Dynamic Black and White equals to a more contrasting picture hence the word dynamic. No soft lights were added because it was not appropriate for the kind of pictures I used. On the other hand, auto black and white which can be generated easily in a few seconds looks a little dull.

I like all the dynamic editing except for the last one...The original picture was exposed sigh...so it looks weird overall.

The Editing:

Not as simple as clicking desaturate, auto tone, auto color, auto contrast...that's for the easy b/w effect. The editing process consist of image repair, and manual coloring with the brush tool. So that you can give certain area a better contrast and highlight and not an overall contrast.

The Verdict:

Left: Manual Dynamic B/W
Right: Auto B/W in PS
